The SNFCC
″Through Your Lens″

Featuring 89 photographers

Working in partnership with the SNFCC to celebrate their 2-year anniversary, United Photo Industries produced an open call for photographers that culminated into a group large-scale outdoor photography exhibition spanning a length of 400 meters along its perimeter. The photos are taken by amateurs and professionals alike, and capture moments of the life at SNFCC, at any season, in various indoor and outdoor spots across its area. More than 2300 photos were submitted by 777 people from 12 countries.

With over 5 million visits already, the SNFCC is a polymorphic destination, something that is captured in these photos: Architectural landmark, cultural producer, recreation destination, sports facility, metropolitan park. The SNFCC converses with its visitors, creating moments and experiencing that are reflected on the photographic lens. Ultimately, this exhibition does not present the SNFCC as a mere architectural project; it explores its relationship with the public, as this interaction reveals each time a different function and meaning of its space, as well as a different point of view.

The photographs on display were selected by a jury composed of: Gabriella Triantafyllis, Programming and Production Director, SNFCC, Yiorgis Yerolymbos, Architect — Photographer; Manolis Moresopoulos, Director, Athens Photo Festival; Harris Pressas, Visual Artist — Professor, Faculty of Applied Arts & Culture, University of West Attica.
