Communications Coordinator
Contracted paid temporary position

 

Photoville is looking for a creative and enthusiastic Communications Associate to join the Communications team for the 2024 Photoville Festival!

 

You will work collaboratively with the Communications Manager to implement the festival communications strategy, contribute ideas, and co-produce social media content.

Compensation: $25/hour

 

Duration: May 1 – June 30, 2024

Job Description
    • Collaborate with the Communications Manager to implement the 2024 Photoville Festival communications strategy for promotion, awareness, and engagement
    • Work closely with the Communications Manager to generate ideas and create and produce fun original content for social media platforms and newsletters
    • Schedule posts for Photoville social media platforms and newsletters
    • Assist in content proofing
    • Assist in on-site marketing efforts such as social media live programming and audience outreach
Education Programs Coordinator
Contracted paid temporary position

 

Photoville is looking for an Education Programs Coordinator to join the Photoville Education team for the 2024 Photoville Festival!

 

You will work collaboratively with the Public Engagement Manager to manage production, staffing and programming logistics as well as organize, track, implement, and execute Photoville Festival’s Education Days.

Compensation: $27/hr

 

Duration: April 20th  – June 8th, 2024

 

Hours: approximately 16 – 40 hrs a week.  (see detailed information on application)

Job Description

 

    • PRE-PRODUCTION
      • Familiarize yourself with Festival EDU operations, design, procedures, documents, and schedule.
      • Work with Education & Outreach Director to design, plan, implement, and promote programs for the Photoville Festival EDU days on June 4th and 5th
      • Tracking project details and paperwork, including workshop materials, EDU day signups, promotional content, artist correspondence, etc.
      • Participate in the creation of packets, documents, and workshop materials as needed and directed by Festival leadership.

 

    • DURING FESTIVAL
      • Open and Close (as scheduled) the EDU program site during the run of Festival
      • Manage staff and volunteers for EDU program
      • Schedule staff and track hours and breaks
      • Coordinate arrivals of staff, partners, students, educators, and goods
      • Coordinate with Comms to manage PV photographers and videographers
      • Interface with all participants and represent Photoville to the public
      • Track attendance and other metrics
      • Manage and assist with setup/breakdown as required
      • Submit EDU production report per guidelines provided by Festival Producer

 

    • AFTER THE EDU DAY PROGRAMS
      • Coordinate and assist with break down
      • Write and submit wrap reports as requested by Festival Producer
