Kristi Brown

Kristi Brown has spent the majority of her career in the public and nonprofit sectors, and side-hustled as a freelance photographer for many years. She is currently the Chief of Staff at the NYC Mayor’s Office of Operations where she is focused on making government work better for all New Yorkers. Kristi believes in the power of photojournalism and documentary photography and has been a fan of Photoville for many years. Kristi is a proud alumnae of the NYU Wagner Graduate School of Public Service, Public Policy Lab, Coro Leadership New York, and the City Year New York AmeriCorps program. Kristi was born and raised in Texas and has lived in NYC for over 15 years. She currently lives, reads, and runs in Astoria, Queens.
