Photoville is a New York-based non-profit organization that works to promote a wider understanding and increased access to the art of photography for all.

Founded in 2011 in Brooklyn, NY, Photoville was built on a commitment to cultural equity and inclusion. We advance this commitment by ensuring that the artists we exhibit reflect a broad spectrum of perspectives, across genders, classes, and racial and cultural backgrounds.
In pursuit of its mission, Photoville produces an annual city-wide open-air photography festival in New York City, delivers free educational and community initiatives, and leads a nationwide program of public art exhibitions.
By activating public spaces, amplifying visual storytellers, and creating distinctive and innovative exhibition and programming environments, we work to drive a broader and more inclusive lens of representation.
Through creative partnerships with festivals, city agencies, and other nonprofit organizations, Photoville provides visual storytellers, educators, and students with financial support, mentorship, and strong promotional and production resources across a range of exhibition opportunities.
Who we work with
