Miguel graduated from the department of Entertainment Technology at City-Tech and is a current grad student at the PIMA (Performance and interactive Media Arts) at Brooklyn college, both colleges of the City University of New York, same academy where he is now a professor of Entertainment Technology and Electricity for live entertainment. Along with theatre Lighting Design Miguel decided to explore lighting outdoor environments; he started to dedicate part of his time to look into ways in which lighting public places can harmonically interact with people that uses them. His graduation project: A theoretical lighting installation for the Williamsburg Bridge was an editor’s choice at the International Make Fair 2012 in New York. After working along several theatre productions Miguel wants to keep exploring the intersection between art and technology developed for stage and other event spaces. Happy to be part of the Photoville team, Miguel loves the idea of working along such great team of Art lovers like it has been the case for couple of years already.
