NYU Future Imagemakers is a participatory photography project at Tisch School of the Arts Department of Photography & Imaging and part of the Tisch Future Artist Program. Free digital photography classes are offered to NYC-area high school students every spring and are taught by NYU faculty and students. We at Future Imagemakers are passionate about image making and believe in the power of photography as a means for self-expression, building self-confidence, and reflecting on our surroundings and lives. We strive to expand boundaries, open up possibilities, envision justice, and learn from one another. View student work at www.futureimagemakers.photoandimaging.net. Applications for the spring 2017 workshop are due November 14, 2016.
