[ A QUICK GUIDE TO PHOTOVILLE ]
Here are a few things you might want to know ahead of your visit to PHOTOVILLE. And remember, Photoville returns on September 13, 2017!
How do I get to Photoville?
Photoville is centrally located in Brooklyn Bridge Plaza, on the corners of Water Street and New Dock Street. We are directly underneath the Brooklyn Bridge in DUMBO and bordered by Jane’s Carousel and St. Ann’s Warehouse! Please check our direction page for instructions to reach Photoville by bus, subway, bike, foot, and the NYC Ferry Service.
Is there a ticket charge?
No! All events are open to the public and free of charge – however a suggested donation of $5 is encouraged and appreciated to secure the longevity of this community event. Food and beverages will be available for sale through a variety of artisanal food vendors.
Dogs @ Photoville
Big dogs, small dogs, we have a place for each and every one of you at Photoville!
If you’re looking for a dog run, Hillside Dog Park has an amazing space on Vine Street, just four minutes south of Photoville. And remember, Photoville is dog friendly through and through!
Are there bathroom facilities?
Yes, portable bathroom and hand washing stations are available on site. Brooklyn Bridge Park also has clearly marked facilities at the Park’s entrance at Pier 1.
Where can I find Photoville’s schedule of activities and hours of operation?
Information will be posted throughout Photoville, at our Hospitality Tent (located at both entrances), and on this very web site.
We love it when you go green! There are plenty of bike racks near Photoville, which you can find along Main Street and Front Street. And conveniently, CitiBike has locations on Old Fulton Street, Front Street & Washington Street, as well as Pearl Street & Anchorage Place. Don’t forget to wear your helmet!
Food and Beverages
We’ve got you covered! Photoville has its own Smorgasburg Beer Garden, complete with food vendors serving a variety of beverages and specialty food.
Most areas of Photoville are wheelchair accessible and portable wheelchair ramps are available on site. Anyone with a disability who needs assistance or help in any way should contact a Photoville staff member, who will radio for assistance right away.
Please note that some exhibitions are not wheelchair accessible and please keep in mind that this is a large venue with some distance between attractions.
Unless it’s a dangerous downpour or storm, Photoville will be open. We will notify the public on a day-to-day basis regarding weather cancellation via email updates, our website, Facebook and Twitter.
ATM machines are conveniently located at the Beer Garden and throughout DUMBO. Please visit our Hospitality Tent or consult a local map for locations.
